Alushta is a well known resort city of the Crimea, Ukraine. It is located in the southern coast of the Crimea peninsula on the highway from Simferopol to Yalta. The population is 30,000 people. I think Alushta lost a bit of its «small town charm», because of the senseless construction. The landscape was not suitable for multi-storied apartment blocks. Anyway, it's still has enough space for some wiser projects, and the beaches are more spacious than in Yalta. Most feedbacks and comments that we receive are unanimous that Alushta is good for the active travelers or the devotees of the beach. If you are keen on museums, Alushta is not the right place.
