Excursion 1. Odessa Strolling Tour:
There is no better way to see Odessa than to walk in the attractive promenade and the old streets, which still retain their original beauty.
The tour begins with the site formerly inhabited by the eastern Slavs "Ulichi & Tivertsy", which belonged to the ancient Ukrainian state "Kyivan Rus", later occupied by the formidable Turkish fortress. Here in the 19th century F. Boffo, the Odessa city architect built an estate for Mikhail Vorontsov with a beautiful colonnade. Vorontsov’s palace looks rather shabby and is on the Eve of its restoration.
Next stop will be at the small square between the bridge nicknamed "Mother-in-Law Bridge" by the local people and Gogol street, called "a Piece of Old Odessa". There is a Shah’s palace in the vicinity, built in 1852 by architect Gonsiorovsky, who made an imitation of a medieval British castle. In 1909, when the Persian revolution took place, the Shah fled to Odessa and rented this building. Since then on it has been known as Shah’s Palace
Continue walking along Gogol street, marked with the ceremonial composition and scale, named after Nikolai Gogol, a classical Russian-Ukrainian writer, who lived in the street for about two years at his uncle.
The tour proceeds to the Passage, one of the finest architectural masterpieces of the city. Built in 1899 by the architect Vlodeck as a trade complex and a hotel, the building features sculptures of a steam-engine and boat – the symbols of trade.
Refreshments are offered in one of the cafes during the tour.

Excursion 2. Odessa - a Pearl of the Black Sea:
215 years ago an exclusive necklace of the Black Sea Northern Seashore was decorated with its precious pearl – Odessa (after the ancient Greek colony Odessos, which was believed to be in the vicinity. The city today is a large seaport, a major commercial, cultural, scientific centre of Ukraine.
You will drive to Primorsky Boulevard, the city's popular promenade, and begin Your strolling tour for a close inspection of Odessa's most cherished buildings and monuments: Potemkinskaya Steps, monument to Duke de Richelieu, monument to Alexander Pushkin, City Hall, as well as magnificent Opera & Ballet House. Completed in 1887, the baroque style building of the theatre was designed by the architects, responsible for the Vienna House and the Dresden Court Theatre, both of which it resembles.
Following Your strolling tour You will drive along Richileuvskaya street, one of the major thoroughfares, connecting the old historical centre with the Railway terminal. You will make a photostop at the Kulikovo Pole (former October Revolution Square and typically with the monument to V.I Lenin). Your eye is also attracted here by the perspective view of the 5 onion-shaped cupola of St. Panteleimon the Healer Cathedral. The tourist bus will go further into the city along Taras Shevchenko Avenue through the city area. Pass by the Victory Monument, commemorating the Victory in the World War II. Drive along the French Boulevard then, to see part of resort area towards Shevchenko park for a photo stop (comfort stop) & welcome drink (coffee, tea, juice, min.water in a Restaurant "Khutorok". Located on the northern shore of the Black Sea, the present city of Odessa was built by order of Catherine the Great in 1794. The city experienced rapid growth and is now the largest port on the Black Sea in addition to being a favourite resort area among Eastern Europeans with its temperate climate and glorious beaches. Excursion 4. Odessa - Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky and Shabo:
The tour begins with the main places of interest in Odessa: Potemkin staircase that was built by the Italian architect Boffo in 1841 to be the parade entrance to the city, The Opera & Ballet Theatre, completed in 1887, in style of baroque, and designed by the architects, responsible for the Vienna Opera House and the Dresden Court Theatre, both of which it resembles, the Assumption Cathedral, the main church of Odessa and Izmail Diocese, a 2-hour-trip to the famous wine-making village Shabo and remarkable Fortress of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky along the endless steps of Odessa Region and Bessarabya awaits you.
In the village of Shabo, situated on the left bank of the Dniester River the experts of vine-growing and winemaking dwell and work. The technology of wine-making and viticulture has been preserved here since the 19th century when Russian Tzar encouraged wine-makers from France and Switzerland to settle down in this picturesque village. Then the road leads you to Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky – a port-city situated in 18 km from the sea coast in the estuary of the Dniester River and famous for its vivid history and cultural heritage. It was founded in the 6th century BC by the Greek and named Teera. During the ages numerous peoples took part in its distortions and revivals. Nowadays the city is a popular resort zone of Ukraine. Its gentle southern climate, green plantations and fresh air attract thousands of people from different corners of the world.
The tour participants will see the ruins of the ancient town of Teera as well as the Medieval fortress that are the main tourist attractions here. The fortress appeared in the 1st half of the 15th century and was established on the rocky right coast of Dnistrovsky Liman with the 20 m deep and 135 m wide ditch that surrounds it from three sides.
