Yalta hotels review
Hotel Krymskiy:
We had an extremely plesent stay at hotel Krymskiy. It was great value for money. Staff are well trained and extremely polite. Would very much would like to go back to Crimea and in particualrly Yalta, and I will try to stay in this hotel again. Hector.
As far as the Hotel Krimski is concerned, the staff was very friendly and the room had very nice view. However, one should point out - at least to elderly guests - that the hotel has 4 floors but no lift. And the bathrooms are so tiny it is impossible to wash ones face in a «normal position».
Apart from that, everything was fine. Kind regards from Vienna, Helmut.
Looking at comparitive prices it seems that the Hotel Krimsky is a very good deal and an excellent value. IF one has a car and doesn't have to walk up the hill all the time. Take a taxi wasn't too bad. The view from our room was absolutely spectacular - in fact we found a picture postcard for sale with the exact same view. The balcony was excellent. The restaurant offered excellent fare at reasonable prices (except for breakfast, breakfast was pretty expensive.)
Westerners aren't quite used to the idea of the sheets not being changed everyday - or towels being changed every THREE days - but such practices I understand are more common in Eastern Europe.
We (my girlfriend and I) certainly do intend to return to Yalta one day - and perhaps we would want to stay at the Krimsky again.
In any event I do thank you for suggesting this place. The moonlight evenings on the balcony while hearing Yalta activities in the distance and the latenight swims in the pool were very memorable. Jim.
Hello Ihor,
Thank you so much for your help with booking hotels for me during my recent Crimea tour. Your travel service is most efficient and reliable; your recommendations for hotels were honest and dependable - when I arrived at the hotels, they were exactly as you described them.
The Krimskiy Hotel in Yalta was not my first choice, but all the other hotels I wanted to stay in were fully booked. You recommended the Krimskiy which turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is located high up in the hills, and has a spectacular view of the Yalta seafront. The outdoor Olympic-size pool was a treat. The Krimskiy was so peaceful and relaxing; it was nice to be away from the crowded and noisy promenade. For the price, this was an excellent deal. This hotel will now be my first choice when I return to Yalta! Ihor, I really enjoyed our chats about the Ukraine. Not only do you run a great travel service, but you possess a wealth of information about your country, which you generously share with others. It was a delight to meet you.
Many thanks, Robert.
