Yalta hotels review
Hotel Massandra:
Massandra hotel was very clean. Hotel room was also big enough and balcon was nice. A service in the restaurant in same building was good and they had fast and prompty room service as well. Food was tasty and reasonable priced, local wines as well reasonable priced. We both have positive feeling of hotel and its services.
Relationship of reception officers could be better, one officer was angry for other officer few times during our stay, but for customers service was always okay.
By the way, one restaurant on main sea promanade in Yalta had much higher prices in english language menu than in russian language menu. We noticed that and changed to other place.
I can not remember the restaurant name, but it located in the middle of promenade in nice looking old villa style building with large outdoor terrace between a walking promenade and the restaurant.

Our room was comfortable, and had everything we needed. The price was great too. Gordon
On the whole I would recommend the Massandra Hotel and would consider staying there again. What I liked best about the hotel was its location. For me, the location was perfect. It was an easy walk from the hotel to the Yalta Intourist beach. The beach was never very crowded. The Massandra hotel is also an easy walk to Yalta center. And it's possible to walk through the park itself to get there. The area is very beautiful and offers a great view of the Black Sea. My girlfriend and I would often walk to Yalta center to shop and then take a taxi back to the hotel. Wine and bread, cheese, and fruit were very reasonably priced at local stores. We got into the habit of eating our breakfast and a late evening meal in our hotel suite.
The suite that we stayed in was comfortable and quiet. And although it was on the first floor, from the porch we had a slight view of the Black Sea. The view is better from the upper floors. The suite itself was spacious and the rooms were interesting, although the decor and furnishings of the rooms were nothing special.
The weakest aspect of the hotel is its service. It took three days to get a light bulb installed in one of the bedroom reading lights. It took three days for our request for extra towels to be honored.
