Odessa hotels review
Hotel Ayvazovsky:
Hotel Ayvazovsky in Odessa is very centrally situated in a quiet street. It occupies an historic monument relishing simple elegance and boasting an incredible standard of service, the reception-clerk even mastering a perfect knowledge of Dutch.
The space in the brand-new fitted up room is practically ordered, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is a jewel in its crown.
Since the Hotel has no breakfast-room, the outside possibilities were Buffalo Cafe and Belgian Beer Cafe. We first went to Belgian Beer Cafe early in the morning to partake a rather scanty meal, the second day we ate copiously at Buffalo's and the third and last day we enjoyed a compensating gargantuan lunch-packet ( early leave for flight ) from the Belgian Beer Cafe.
A last notification concerning Ayvazovsky: the weather forecast for our last day of stay was positive with no reference to rain, nevertheless at the end of the day an unexpected local shower occurred, our dormer-window was left open for ventilation and the water soaked the tapis-plain. This of course is a pity for mildew-building and the roommaid's task to think of closing it. Martial
Hotel Londonskaya:
Londonskaya is a nice and very quiet hotel. It is in the center on the Primoreskij Bvd. The service is ok and the they talk in three languages: Rus , Ukr, and Eng. They have also a very nice SPA center. The rooms were renovate!
